What does aerial ash scattering cost?
Basic rates start at $400.00 per flight for destinations less than 50 nautical miles round trip. Call for an exact quote based
on your particular needs.

Are family members allowed to ride along on the scattering flight?
We discourage family members from going up with the Pilot. The main concern on every flight is safety. Family members with
extreme grief may present an unplanned situation for the Pilot.

How will I know when the scattering is completed?
The Pilot will call you when safely back on the ground.  You will also receive a certificate that commemorates the event.

Can I meet the Pilot and watch the aircraft depart?
Yes.  Those arrangements will be made in advance.  You may also choose to have rose petals scattered at the departure
from the airport and at the ash scattering portion of the flight as well.

What are the advantages to aerial ash scattering?
Aerial ash scattering can be a meaningful part of closure in the grieving process. The last act of love you can offer is closure
with honor and dignity.  Most of our beloved pets have enjoyed their happiest days, outdoors.  What more fitting way to
say “Farewell” ?

Can we have a memorial service before the aircraft departs?
Yes.  We will do our best to accommodate your last requests for your beloved pet.

Am I allowed to keep some of the ashes?
Yes.  Many families elect to keep a small portion of the cremated ashes and incorporate them into a small memorial such as
a keepsake urn or a cremation jewelry piece. Just let us know your specific and unique requests.

Is it legal to scatter ashes?
Yes, providing it does not create a hazard to persons or property below.

Is Angels Wings Funeral Flights able to release human ashes?
Yes, the same gentle, hand-guided release process we use for pet ashes can be adapted to release human ashes as well.
Please contact us to discuss how we can accommodate your final wishes for your loved one.

What are people saying about Angels Wings Funeral Flights?
"We never had the chance to meet you in person but what you did will always be in our hearts.  We hope to make it to
Phoenix and give you a big hug and express our gratitude to you.  As you heard, were so grief stricken  at the thought of
losing our Toby.  The thought of putting him to sleep was devastating.  And the thought of taking him back home and
burying him was more than I could handle. I will never forget your kindness and compassion on the phone with me. I had
never known of a business like yours. After he was cremated, being able to send him on his final journey from your hands to
the sky was such an amazing release for my husband Tim and I, not to mention Toby.  He loved windy days and hikes in the
woods.... Keep up the good work." ~ Sheila & Tim C.,  Business Owners, Sedona AZ

"What a great way to combine your expertise with a very meaningful part of peoples lives."
~ Matthew W., ER Doctor, New York

"Our pets have always been elevated to a higher level since my husband and I don't have any children....our pets are our
children and have a very special place in our hearts. You are providing a much needed and valuable service to the
community....  I am very impressed with your ambition and your kind-heartedness with providing a service that honors the
soul." ~ Kristina H., Commercial Airline Pilot, Alaska
